Chester:Mrs. Patsy Ballew Snipes, 66, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held 11 ;00 AM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Stallings officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 Am Saturday at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Snipes was born in Chester, SC, June 27, 1943 a daughter of the late Wylie Ballew and Minnie Lindsey Ballew. She attended the schools of Chester County, was a member of Second Baptist Church and was retired from Springs Industries as a spooler tender. Mrs. Snipes was the widow of Charles Snipes. Mrs. Snipes is survived by a sister, Johnnie Brazell of Chester, SC and was preceded in death by a brother James Ballew.
