Chester, SC: Mrs. Patsy Connor Jones, 71, died Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church.The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Capers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Paige Wheeler and Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. The interment will be in the church cemetery. Born April 28, 1946 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late William Henry Connor and Mabel Gibson Connor. She was a graduate of Chester High School and formerly worked with Bi-Lo and was retired from Chester County Clerk of Court.Patsy was a member of Capers Chapel United Methodist Church.She enjoyed singing and dancing.She also enjoyed laughter and friends and family.She was a loving mother and an amazing wife who enjoyed her family.Patsy was known to a lot of people as the “bait lady”. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-three years, James Thomas “Jimmy” Jones; two daughters, Mickie Jones and Julie Ann Jones both of Chester; two grandchildren, Amy Stukes (Phillip) and Jensen Keith Price both of Gaston, SC; four great grandchildren, Cameron, Brent and Jaxon Stukesall of Gaston, SC and Sadie Christine Price of Gaston, SC; two brothers, Dexter Connor (Betty) and Ervin Connor (Kathy) both of Chester, SC; one sister, Mary Jo Connor of Chester, SC and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Jimmy Connor.
