Chester Mrs. Patsy Ruth Mullinax Cranford, 87, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Chester Regional Nursing Center in Chester, SC.All services will be private.The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the home of Hap and Margaret Morgan. Born December 26, 1929 in Easley, SC, Mrs. Cranford was a daughter of the late Benjamin Graydon Mullinax and Edna Ophelia Stewart Mullinax and the widow of William A. “Willie” Cranford, Sr.She is a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Cranford was a member of Wesley Memorial U. M. C. and also attended Second Baptist Church. She is survived by her grandson, Harry K. “Hap” Morgan, Jr. (Margaret) of Chester, SC; one great granddaughter, Layla Morgan of Chester, SC; one great grandson, Cranford Morgan of Chester, SC.Mrs. Cranford was preceded in death by her son, William A.“Billy” Cranford, Jr., and her daughter Phyllis C.
