Mrs. Ottie Lee Weir McFadden, 87, died Friday, November 22, 2013, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at El Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Beth Drennen and Rev. Jerry Branham officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the sanctuary of the church and other times at the home of her son, Kenneth McFadden, 5389 McFadden Road, Fort Lawn, SC 29714 Mrs. McFadden was born March 18, 1926 in Lando, SC and was a daughter of the late Daniel Young Weir and Callie Seigle Weir and the widow of Frank Boyd”Hook” McFadden, Jr.She attended Oakley Hall High School and was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church where she was active in United Methodist Women.Mrs. McFadden was a homemaker and a former member of the Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by one son, Kenneth F. McFadden and wife Ellen of Fort Lawn; a daughter-in-law, Susan McFadden of Fort Lawn; four grandchildren, Scott McFadden and Jennifer Outen of Lancaster, Rebecca Lee of Fort Lawn, and Sidney Rappe of Reston, Va.; six great-grandchildren, Tyler McFadden and Megan McFadden of Lancaster, SC, Daniel Outen and Kaitie Outen of Lancaster, and Kaia Rappe and Adi Rappe of Reston, Va.Mrs. McFadden was preceded in death by a son, Donald L.
