Chester Mr. Otis Andrew Burton, 92, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at his home.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Wheeler and Rev. Dan Sullivan officiating.The interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Born February 13, 1924 in York, SC, he was a son of the late Edward Burton and Rosie Smart Burton.Mr. Burton was a graduate of Oakley Hall High School and retired from Bi-Lo as a Meat Cutter.He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and a member of Chester Masonic Lodge #18. Mr. Burton is survived by his wife of seventy-one and a half years, Frances Hyatt Burton; one son, Jerry L. Burton, Sr. (Elaine) of Chester, SC; two grandsons, Jerry L. Burton, Jr. (Misty) of Lexington, SC and Andy Burton of Chester, SC; one granddaughter, Jan B. Raines (Barry) of Lexington, SC; seven great grandchildren, Tradd, Jackson, Hampton, Ava, Andrew, Graci and Mac.He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Rosie Burton; six brothers, William Burton, Meek Burton, Joe Burton, Glenn Burton, Jim Burton, and John Burton; one sister, Mable B.
