Norman Curtis Goodnight

Chester Mr. Norman Curtis Goodnight, 67, died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Chester Regional Medical Center.All services will be private. Mr. Goodnight was born October 7, 1947 in Salisbury, NC and was a son of the late Ray Goodnight and EdnaHoffner Mahaley.He attend the schools of China Grove, NC and was retired from Duke Power.Mr. Goodnight was a member of Granard Masonic Lodge #186 in Gaffney, SC. He is survived by his wife of over 36 years, Sandra Spears Goodnight; two sons, Wayne Goodnight (Sissy) of Catawba, NC and Bryan (Shannon) Goodnight of Chester SC; two daughters, TrasaMorgan (J.T.) of Salisbury, NC and Elizabeth Plant (Jay) of Lincoln,Rhode Island; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Goodnight (Martha) and Randy Goodnight; and two sisters, Becky Goudes and Linda Kuczer.Mr. Goodnight was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Jean Robbins and a son Christopher Douglas Houston.
