Mr. Nathan Winford Aldridge, 78, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC 29706 with Rev. Bobby Wallace officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 2, 1932 in Monroe, NC, Mr. Aldridge was a son of the late Richard and Fetna Simpson Aldridge.He attended the schools of Union County, NC, served in the U.S. Army, and was a retired carpenter.He was a member of Sloan Baptist Church of Fort Lawn He is survived by five daughters, Mary Linda McCorkle and husband Dale of Marshville, NC, Dorothy Ann Jones of Denver, NC, Sandra Kay Aldridge of Chester, SC, Rhonda Sue Ledford and husband Scott of Fort Lawn, SC and Linda Diane McDonald of Chester, SC; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Eugene Mishoe.
