Nancy Grant Smith

Chester Mrs. Nancy Grant Smith, 82, formerly of 1437 Center Road, passed away Saturday March 26, 2016 at Harbor Chase in Rock Hill. A native of Lockhart, she was born January 26, 1934 daughter of the late William Aubrey and Bleeka Sigmon Grant. Mrs. Smith was a retired cashier and member of Liberty Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Cecil Smith; three sisters Anita Stevens, Freda Howe and Frances Linderman; also a grandson Adam Taylor. Surviving are four children: Robbie Smith and wife Melanie of Chester, Kim Boulware and husband Jimmy of Chester, Lynn Shillinglaw and husband Robbie of York, Joy Yarborough and husband Lee of Chester; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00am in the Chapel of Barron Funeral Home with Bishop David Levister officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
