As a member of Armenia Methodist Church, and before her health kept her home bound over the last several years, she enjoyed singing in the choir and an active involvement in United Methodist Women. She also loved helping with the secretarial duties for the church office. Before retirement Nancy was involved in the Adult Literacy Program in Chester, SC. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch, crochet, and was an accomplished seamstress. Her love of cooking was shared often at large family occasions, and enjoyed all kinds of music, especially when her children and grandchildren were the entertainers. But her greatest role in life was simply being affectionately known as “the Maw-Maw”. Memorials can be made to Armenia United Methodist Church, 2840 Armenia Road, Chester, SC 29706 Online condolences may be made to the family at www.barronfuneralhome.com.
