CHESTER Mrs. Nancy Lynn McKeown Carter, 82, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 30, 2011 at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rick Wheeler officiating.The interment will be in Old Purity Cemetery. Born May 6, 1929 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Carter was a daughter of the late Waddell and Mattie Wilson Lynn.She attended the schools of Chester County and was a homemaker.She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband Thomas J. Carter; one son, John T. McKeown, Jr and his wife Anne of Chester; one sister, Betty L. Wright and her husband Keith of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren, Leslie Anne McKeown of Chester and John T. McKeown, III and his wife Merry of Vicksburg, MS; one great granddaughter Desri Gutierrez of Chester and several nieces and nephews.
