Nancy Allene Crosby Counterman

Chester Mrs. Nancy Allene Crosby Counterman, 71, died, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021 at Chester Freedom Ministries with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary of the church immediately following the service and then on to the farm. Mrs. Counterman was born October 16, 1949 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late James Raleigh Crosby and Nana Mae Gladden Crosby. She was a graduate of Lewisville High School and York Tech. Nancy worked for many years with Lowry’s Family Medicine and was also a devoted farmers wife, mother and homemaker.She was a member of Ember Church. She is survived by her husband of over 51 years Steve Counterman; two children, Lee Counterman (fiancée Laurie Seawright) and Jamie Counterman (Ginny) of Chester, SC; six grandchildren, Trey, Jack, Noble, Barrett, William and Ella.
