Chester Mrs. Myrtle Dalton Womack, 86, died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Parkway Baptist Church with Rev. Jay Dorsey officiating.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Womack was born July 11, 1926 in Kershaw, SC and was a daughter of the late Richard Pierce Dalton and Sally Pack Dalton and the widow of Harry Shuford Womack.She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Womack was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Simpson and husband William of Columbia and Debbie Cassels of Chester; four grandchildren, Danny Sinclair, Hope Price, Brad Cassels all of Chester, and Natalie Simpson of Columbia; and nine great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Diane Womack.
