Chester Ms. Myrtle Elizabeth Bailey, 92, died Sunday, February 22, 2015, at White Oak Manor.Interment with family and friends will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, February 26, 2015at Chester Memorial Gardens,followed by a2:00 PM Celebration of Life at Bethel United Methodist Church, 101 York Street, Chester, SC 29706 with Rev. Eric Sheperd officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the social hall of Bethel United Methodist Church. Ms. Bailey was born November 5, 1922, in Chester, SC, and was the daughter of the lateWalker Milton Bailey and Mary Elizabeth Grant Bailey.She attended the schools ofChester County and was retired from Springs Industries.Ms. Bailey was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was a charter member of Bethel Lights, a member of Bernadine Patterson Circle and the Adult Fellowship Sunday School class. She is survived by a brother, Malcolm Bailey of Chester and a number of nieces and nephews.Ms. Bailey was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bailey and a sister, Martha Brakefield.
