CHESTER Mrs. Mossie Mae Taylor Ashley, 91, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill, SC.The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Barron Funeral Home. Born March 29, 1921 in Lancaster County, SC, Mrs. Ashley was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Taylor and Eva Haynes Taylor and the widow of Leonard Elliott Ashley.She was a graduate of Lancaster County Schools and retired from Springs Industries as a cloth inspector.She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and the Golden Age Club. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Lynn Ashley and his wife Cheryl of Chester and Leonard E. Ashley, Jr. and his wife B.J. of Surfside Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Brigitte Ashley Wagner and her husband Geoff of Ft. Mill, SC and Elliott E. Ashley and his wife Carla of Columbia, SC and one great granddaughter, Cullum Ashley of Columbia, SC.She was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Pardue and a brother Paul Taylor.
