Mrs. Montine Pressley Bowen,76, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Parkway Baptist Church with Reverend R.B. Ashley and Reverend Jay Dorsey officiating.. Burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Bowen attended schools in Jefferson, Georgia, was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was a native of Jefferson, GA. Surviving are: one daughter, Dorothy Willard and her husband Larry of Chester, SC and one son, Frank Pressley and his wife Yasmine of Parkland, FL, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one sister, Marie Knight of Atlanta, GA and one brother Roy Carroll, Jr. of Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by a son, Joe Lee Pressley.
