Minnie Carter Love Lee

Minnie Lee, 100, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, August 12, 2026.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Ogburn officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.

She was born September 29, 1925 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late David Carter, Sr. and Mattie Allen Carter and was one of seven children.  She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Liberty Baptist Church where she served in many roles.

Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughter, Linda Love Graham of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Wesley Graham of Harrisburg, NC, Arah Graham Cline (Terry) of Columbia, SC, Rhonda Allen Stewart (Brian) of Richburg, SC and Roger Allen (Gina) of Prosperity, SC; seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a stepdaughter, Peggy Lee; and a stepson, Earl Lee.  She was preceded in death by both spouses, Ambrose Love and Leon Lee; a daughter, Diana Love Atkinson; and a grandson, DeWayne Allen.
