Mildred Barbara "Millie" Barrett Henchen

Blackstock Mrs. Mildred Barbara “Millie” Barrett Henchen, 84, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at MUSC Health- Lancaster. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Blackstock First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stacy Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Henchen was born March 3, 1937 in Curwensville, PA and was a daughter of the late Ronald and Viola Barrett. She attended the schools of Pennsylvania and was formerly employed with the Chester County Sherriff’s office. Mrs. Henchen was a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was part of the benevolence committee. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Charles W. Henchen; three daughters, Deana Metz of Lowrys, SC, April Prince (Richard) of Virginia and Tammy Childers (fiancé Bodie Boulware) of Blackstock, SC.; two sons, Randy Smith of Florida and Renny Smith (Sandy) of Attica, NY; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Barrett and Ronald Barrett both of New York; numerous nieces and nephews.
