Michele Sanders Levister, 49, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, September 25, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Michele was born April 6, 1973 in York County, SC and was a daughter of the late James Edward Sanders, Sr. and Margaret Rainer Sanders. She was a graduate of York Comprehensive High School. Michele was a homemaker. Her passion was caring for others and helping life be more bearable for them. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and racing. She is survived by her husband of over 29 years, Robert Daniel Levister; one son, James Levister (Kyra) of Kings Mountain, NC; one granddaughter, Hippie Rayne of Chester, SC; one brother, Eddie Sanders (Jackie) of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Darlene Sullivan (David Moss) of York, SC and Nicole Howell (Randy) of York, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
