Micheal Jim "Jimbo" Rash

CHESTER, SC: Mr. Micheal Jim “Jimbo” Rash, 75, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home.The funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, November 20, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Pressley officiating.The interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Barron Funeral Home. Born July 7, 1940 in Union County, SC, Mr. Rash is the son of the late Ernie Vance Rash and Irene Deal Rash.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries.Jimbo enjoyed fishing as his hobby. He is survived by one son, Michael Wayne Rash (Wendy) of Chester; one daughter, Neece Collazo (Joe) of Richburg; four sisters, Carol Ivie, Linda Pressley (Ralph), Frannie Bianco and Gwen Ross all of Chester; daughter-in-law, Sherry Clack of Chester; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved best friend “Jake”.He was preceded in death by two sons, Keith Clack and Perry Dewayne Rash.
