Michael Vance "Mickey" Lyles

Michael Vance "Mickey" Lyles died Monday, February 24, 2025 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, February 28, 2025 at Barron Funeral Home with Mike Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends also Friday at Barron Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until service time. Mickey was born on August 7, 1946 and was the son of the late Howard Lyles and Doris Estridge Lyles. He was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1964 and was a member of the 1963 State Champion football team for Chester High School. Mickey worked with Campus/Megastar until their closing. he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved playing golf and fishing at Lake Wateree and was an avid Clemson Tiger Athletics supporter. In addition to his parents, Mickey was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Murphy and her husband, Kenneth and also Mickey's nephew, Bradley Oates. He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Heidi Holt Lyles; two daughters, Anita Breyer (Jared) and Alisa Lyles (Tony Farlan) and one son, Brenton Lyles (Larissa); seven grandchildren, Jessica Cyr (Bobby), Melissa Barahona (William), Jared Breyer, Jr., Jace Ralph, Noah Hicks, Finn Lyles, and Jackson Lyles; three great-grandchildren, Ben Cyr, Sophia Barahona and Amelia Barahona; sister-in-law Vickie Oates (Bill) and nephew, Kenneth Murphy.
