Michael Eugene "Mike" Kendrick

Chester. SC: Michael Eugene “Mike” Kendrick, 62, died Friday, October 12, 2018 at his home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barron Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Mr. Kendrick was born September 8, 1956 in Panama City, FL and was a son of the late Eugene and Catherine (Darby) Kendrick. He was a graduate of Chester High School and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Mike was formerly employed with the Chester County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff and Good Kia of Rock Hill, SC and was the former owner and operator of “Fat Fox Café”. Mr. Kendrick is survived by his wife of 20 years, Elaine Wishert Kendrick, son, Jonathan Franklin and his partner Bobby Webb of Hickory, NC; daughter, Josie Pitts(Craig) of Lockhart, SC; granddaughter, Alayna Canupp of Lockhart, SC; sisters, Wanda Roberts and Carolyn Parsons both of Chester, SC and his beloved kitty “Booter”.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by twin brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Kendrick who died at birth.
