CHESTER Ms. Melissa ?Missie? Cope, 40, of Chester died Thursday, December 11, 2008 after a long battle with breast cancer at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Barron Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Shetley and Rev. Mike Shaffer officiating. Born July 15, 1968 in Chester, SC, Ms. Cope was a daughter of Judy Bagley Vanadore and Kenneth W. Fuller. Missie was a graduate of Chester High School and attended Liberty Baptist Church.She was previously employed with Allvac of Richburg, SC as a certification auditor and also had worked as management in grocery retail. Surviving are her fiancé Richie Grubbs and his daughter Brittney Grubbs of the home; mother, Judy B. Varnadore and her husband Jim of Blackstock, SC; father, Kenneth W. Fuller of Chester; two daughters, Kurstin and Morgan Cope of the home; two sisters, Melba Mathews and her husband Eddie and Julie Green and her husband Ray all of Chester; Karen Farmer of Livingston, TX and Lee Lane of Clover, SC with whom she was reared and five nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 pm Saturday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC 29706 and other times at the home 368 Center Street, Chester.
