ROCK HILL, SC: Mrs. Mattie Mae Hall Ernandez, 88, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill, SC. The funeral service will be 3:00 Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Uriel Presbyterian Churchwith Rev. Ed Harris and Rev. Clint Davis officiating. The interment will in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014 at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 7, 1926 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Ernandez was a daughter of the late Nelly Ross Hall, Sr. and Mamie Weaver Hall.She was a graduate of Oakley Hall High School and retired from Manetta Mills as a seamstress.She was a member of Uriel Presbyterian Church where she served as a former Sunday school teacher. She was the widow of Norman H. Ernandez. She is survived by two daughters, Norma E. Cartlege (Frank) of Chester, SC and Gloria E. Hinson (Wendell) of Chester; one son, Bill Ernandez (Joyce) of Chester; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Harriette Wrenn of Rock Hill, SC and Betty Jean Jacobs of Columbia, SC.In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Anne Ernandez, two brothers N.
