Mary Sue (Sims) Terry Small

Chester, SC: Mary Sue Sims Terry Small, 81, died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at MUSC-Chester. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday February 2, 2021 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Reverend Scott Vaughn officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mrs. Small was born in Lancaster, SC on October 23, 1939 and was a daughter of the late Boston Sims and Lillie Mae( Faile) Sims. She attended the schools of Lancaster County and formerly worked with Springs Industries and was a Homemaker. Mrs. Small was a member of Four Square Gospel Church and also attended Saluda Street Church of God. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lee Crawford Terry and her second husband David Daniel Small , her daughter Pamela Terry Wages and her step-son Judson Small. Mrs. Small is survived by six children, Cindy Pitts of Lancaster, Lorrie Fitzgerald (Clinton) of Rocky Mount, VA, Ricky Terry (Becky) of Chester, SC, Wanda Partain (Malcolm) of Blackstock, SC,Richard Todd Small (Frankie) of Apollo Beach, FL and Douglas Dean Small ; fourteen grandchildren and many great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; three sisters, Brenda Sutton of Salisbury, NC, Ida Powell of Pageland, SC and Karen Carnes of Lancaster, SC.
