CHESTER Mrs. Mary Madeline McKeown Guy Morrow, 89, departed this life Wednesday, June 02, 2010 at Chester Regional Medical Center in Chester. The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, June 4, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Chester with Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 7:30 PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 21, 1921 in Chester, Mrs. Morrow was a daughter of the late White Mills McKeown and Elsie Austin McKeown. She was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Springs Industries as a spinner. She has been a member First Baptist Church since 1932 where was a nursery worker for over fifty years.She loved her church, her family and friends and was known for her sweet and generous spirit. She told the story of Jesus to many who passed her way.She was the widow of Grady F. Guy, Sr. and Hal Morrow. She is survived by her son, Grady F. Guy, Jr and his wife Pat of Blackstock, SC; one daughter, Dianne Guy of Cedartown, Georgia; grandson, Brian Lee Guy and his wife Beth, and one great grandson Graham Guy all of Spartanburg;granddaughter, Holly Marie Guy and great grandson, Will Guy Cato both of Blackstock and a dearly loved friend Emily Marchman of Cedartown, Georgia; several cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.She was preceded in death by her infant brother John White McKeown and sister Ruby Lee McKeown Snead.
