Pittsburgh, PA Mrs. Mary Helen Manning, 98, originally of Chester, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at The Pines of Mount Lebanon personal care facility in Pittsburgh, PA.Family and friends will be received at Barron Funeral Home on Monday, May 9, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, at Bethel United Methodist Church.Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Manning was born August 21, 1917 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late William Franklin Moore and Mary McLarty Moore.She was a retired school teacher. She is survived by a son, Dr. William Franklin Manning and wife, Karen Huska Manning of Pittsburgh, PA.; a daughter, Mary Pamela Manning Branin of Minneapolis, MN.; five grandchildren, William, John, and Katelyn Manning of Pittsburgh, Kate Branin Kielkopf (John) of St. Paul, MN., and Sara Branin Holm (Chad) of Minneapolis, MN.; one great granddaughter, Brenna Kielkopf; and her nieces and nephew, Lila Shannon Hunsucker, Mary Shannon Boyd and Dr. Robert Shannon.Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wilton Manning; two sisters, Hazel Moore and Lila Moore Shannon; and one brother, Frank Moore.
