Chester Mrs. Mary Ellen Dove Love, 76, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2017, at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Howard officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, September 17, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Love was born March 5, 1941 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Robert Randolph Dove and Della Lee Ghantt Dove.She retired from Springs Industries Eureka Plant after more than 30 years of service.Mrs. Love was a member of First Church of the Nazarene for over 45 years where she taught children’s Sunday School for 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Paul M. Love; two sons, Ronnie Love (Wanda) of Rock Hill and Todd Love (Jutanna) of Chester; two grandchildren, Suzette McAbee (Cody) and Jonathan Love (Reagan) both of Chester; one great grandchild, Brooks McAbee of Chester; and two sisters, Nancy Kay Yarborough and Frances Dove both of Chester.Mrs. Love was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Bob and John Dove and four sisters, Betty Dove, Janie Mobley, Nancy Dove and Lucille Sinclair.
