Mrs. Mary Jo Roberts Canupp, 66, died Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Piedmont Medical Center.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 3, at Richburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Harris and Rev. Linda Jenkins officiating.Interment will follow in Union ARP Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 2, at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St.,Chester, SC. Mrs. Canupp was born August 10, 1952 in Union County, SC and was a daughter of the late William Henry Roberts and Mary Nunnley Roberts.She was reared by her foster parents, Bessie and James Bagley.She attended the schools of Lewisville and was a homemaker.Mrs. Canupp was a member of Richburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, William “Bill” Canupp; one son, James Keith Roberts, (Stephanie) of Richburg; two daughters, Misty Canupp and Elizabeth Canupp both of Richburg; four grandchildren, Kobe Roberts, Dylan Canupp, Makayla Roberts and Brooklyn Carter all of Richburg; one brother, Henry Eugene Roberts o of Rich burg; and several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Canupp was preceded in death by a son, William Dillard Canupp, Jr. Memorials may be made to Richburg United Methodist Church, c/o Dena Sanders, P.O.
