Mary Frances Chandler Elkins

Mrs. Mary Frances Chandler Elkins, 80, died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her home. All services will be private.

Mrs. Elkins was born February 4, 1944 in Columbia, SC and was a daughter of the late Boyce Chandler and Johnnie Wilson. She was a graduate of the schools of Mecklenburg County and retired from Schlegel Corp.

The family would like to offer their ‘Heartfelt Thanks” to Hospice Providence Care and especially to her nurse Heather.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert H. Elkins, Sr.; her daughter, Tonia Elkins Shoffner of Rodman, SC; four grandchildren, ; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; her daughter-in-law, Kim Elkins of Daytona, Fl.; she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Shirley and Elaine Franklin; her son Robert H. Elkins, Jr. and grandson, Christopher Michael Elkins.
