Chester, SC: Mary Elizabeth Dove Harding, 89 died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Reverend Michael Shaffer officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.. Mrs. Harding was born in Chester, SC on July 13, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Sam Dove and Minnie Dove. She was a graduate of Chester High School and worked many years with Gough Oil and Gas and Colonial Grocery, Big Star and A&P. She loved bowling and being on a league with her friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Harding and her son, Wayne Pierce. She is survived by a daughter Karen Young of Carlisle, SC,and two grandchildren, Amy Revels (Bryan) and Michael Martin both of Chester, SC seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Harold E.
