Blair, SC Mrs. Mary Crowder Dickerson, 88, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her residence.The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 22, 2011 at Cool Branch Baptist Church with Rev. John Epps officiating.The interment will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Barron Funeral Home. Born February 7, 1923 in Fairfield County, SC, Mrs. Dickerson was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Julia Beam Crowder.She was an honor graduate of Monticello High School and retired from Carlisle Finishing Plant.She was a member of Cool Branch Baptist Church for over fifty-six years where she formerly served as organist and church clerk.She was the widow of Mack Henry Dickerson. She is survived by one son, Daniel M. Dickerson and his wife Irene of Blair, SC; one daughter, Peggy D. Swearingen and her husband Jimmy of Blair; three grandchildren, Becky Wyatt and her husband Mark of Blackstock, SC, Jai Swearingen and his fiancé Ashton Blanton of Blair and Melissia Roberts and her husband Gary of York, SC; three great grandchildren, Julia Marie Wyatt and Peyton Crowder Wyatt both of Blackstock and Gary Preston Roberts, IV of York.
