Mary Ann Lunsford Stevenson

Mrs. Mary Ann Lunsford Stevenson, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The family will receive family and friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Barron Funeral home. All other services are private. Mary Ann was born in Lockhart, SC on December 10, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Hayden Roy Lunsford, Sr. and Esther Pearl Roberts Lunsford. She was a graduate of Chester Senior High School and worked for Zenith Engraving for more than twenty years. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Jerry P. Stevenson, to whom she was married for over 56 years. She is also survived by two daughters, Amy Stevenson Pressley (Johnny) of Chester and Jennifer Stevenson Love (Mark) of Tega Cay; three grandsons, Sam Nichols of Chester, and Harper Love and Greyson Love of Tega Cay; one sister, Pat Lail (Robert) of Conover, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends Linda Dodds, Becky Reed, and Janis Elms. She is preceded in death by three brothers Hayden Roy Lunsford, Jr., Ralph Eugene Lunsford, and Charles Lee Lunsford: sister, Frances Ellen Lunsford; and close friend, Carol Brice.
