Marty Lynn Catledge

Chester Mr. Marty Lynn Catledge, 47, died Monday, July 25, 2022 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Shaffer and Rev. Jill Catledge officiating. Interment will follow at Uriel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Barron Funeral Home. Mr. Catledge was born November 30, 1974 in Chester, SC and was a son of Shirley Wylie and the late Gene Catledge. He was a graduate of Lewisville High School and formerly employed with Bilo for over 20 years and later worked with kJ’S Market in Chester. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR racing. Marty also enjoyed working in his flower beds and grilling. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Hodges and his nephew Brandon Hall; he is survived by his wife of over nineteen years, Jennifer Brakefield Catledge; mother, Shirley Wylie Catledge; three children, Alexander Catledge and Alexandra Catledge both of Chester, SC and Taylor Catledge of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Ronnie Catledge (Jill) of Chester, SC; one sister, Debbie Hall (Jeff) of Chester, SC; several nieces and nephews.
