Mrs. Martha Juanita Hipp McCrorey, 88, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Agape Senior in Rock Hill, SC.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Richburg United Methodist Church in Richburg with the Rev. Linda Jenkins and Rev. John Hipp officiating.The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM Monday, March 22 at Barron Funeral Home. Born June 24, 1921 in Prosperity, SC, Mrs. McCrorey was a daughter of the late James Wesley Hipp and Sophie Ramey Hipp.She was a graduate of Richburg High School and attended Lander College and wasretired from the Chester County School District.She was a charter member ofRichburg Chapter #213 Order of Eastern Star and a member of the Lewisville Family and Community Leaders Club.She was a member of Richburg United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.She was preceded in death by her husband John Boyd McCrorey, former mayor of Richburg. Surviving are her three children, Patricia M. Hensley and husband Dr. Gerald Hensley,Robert Boyd McCrorey and wife Anita all of Richburg and Rosemary M. Young and husband Maury of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren, Saye McCrorey and wife Alanna of Richburg; and Amber M. Lunderville and husband Michael of Charlotte, NC, Logan Young of Summerville, SC; three great grandchildren, Asher McCrorey, Olivia and Avery Lunderville; one sister, Willette H. Weatherly and husband John of Kings Mountain, NC; two step-sisters, Sarah Ann Stuart and Martha Logan Drafts.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma H. King and Eleanor H.
