Mark Speer Dickson

Mark Speer Dickson, 68, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his home.  A private service will be held at a later date.

Mark was born January 3, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was a son of the late Milton Dickson and Margaret Evelyn Speer Dickson.  He was a graduate of Fountain Valley High School, Fountain Valley, CA and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He retired from Pumps, Parts and Service in Charlotte, NC.  Mark was an avid motorcyclist and loved his Harley Heritage Soft Tail.  He was a proud member of "H.O.G."  He loved the Los Angeles Dodgers and was a huge fan.

He is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Margie Ann Westerhof Dickson; two sons, Scott Westerhof of Chester, SC and Matthew Westerhof of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Monica Smith (Vince) of Bettendorf, IA; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Westerhof and DJ Westerhof; one sister, Susan Dickson of Charlotte, NC ; a nephew, Chet Dickson and a niece, Leslie Battle.  In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Kent Dickson.
