A graveside service will be Monday, February 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Armenia United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chip Sneed and Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Mr. Brakefield was born in Chester, SC onDecember 3, 1924 a son of the late Marion and Louise Dove Brakefield. He attended the schools of Chester County and was employed as a electrician. Mr. Brakefield was a Army Air Corp Veteran durring WWII and a member ofArmenia United Methodist Church. Surving are a daughter Marion Bagley and husband Mike of Chester, SC,3 Grandchrildren, Michael R. Bagley Jr. and wife Shellie, Jennifer Miller and husband Steve, and Meredith Bagley, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Sophie and Carter Miller.
