CHESTER Mrs. Margie Keasler Roof, 89, died September 5, 2012 at the Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating.The interment will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. Roof was born in Chester, SC on June 21, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Keasler and Sally Odell Keasler. Mrs.Roof was a graduate of Chester High School, a homemaker and the widow of Morris Lee Roof. She is survived by one son, Lee Roof and his wife Diane of Wake Forest, NC; one sister, Bernice Cudd of Troy, NC; one grandson, David Roof and his wife Jayme and one granddaughter, Ashley Roof Morris and her husband Nathan all of Raleigh, NC and three great grandchildren Alayna Roof,Allie Roof andLogan Roof all of Raleigh, NC.
