Margie Sides Huffman

Surfside Beach, SC Mrs. Margie Sides Huffman, 88, passed away Sunday, July 5,2015, at Myrtle Beach Estates in Myrtle Beach, SC where she had resided since 2010. She was born May 28, 1927 in Chester, SC to the late David Plutarch Sides and Elizabeth Hensley Sides.Mrs. Huffman moved to Baltimore, MD at an early age.She was employed by U.S.F&G Insurance Company until her retirement in 1987 when she moved to Surfside Beach, SC.Mrs. Huffman married her husband, Marvin Huffman in 1994.She was a member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church in Chester, SC. Mrs. Huffman is survived by her brother,William H. Sides of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by sisters, Julia Sides McGarity and Faye Sides Coogler Watson and her brother, David P. Sides, II. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
