Margaret Boulware Stevenson

Carlisle Mrs. Margaret Ellen Boulware Stevenson, 94, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Leeds Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Black and Rev. John Epps officiating.Interment will follow in Cool Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 atBarron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Stevenson was born August 31, 1918 in Fairfield County, SC and was a daughter of the late Davis Boulware and Eunice Traylor Boulware Stevenson.She attended the schools of Fairfield County, was a homemaker, and a member of Leeds Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Lucius David Stevenson and wife Mary Jane of Carlisle; two daughters, Frances Taylor and husband John of Carlisle and Margaret S. Bostic of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Renee Rawls, Sheri Brown, Chris Stevenson, Scott Stevenson, Denise Davis, Paula Oates, and Lynn Bostic; seven great-grandchildren, Amanda Rawls, Ashley Rawls, Austin and Preston Stevenson, Ryan Oates, Lynlea Bostic, and Drew Brown; one great-great grandchild, Brianna Rawls; one brother, Jerry Stevenson of Chester; and two sisters, Ruth Stewart of Chester and Nina Pierce of Winnsboro.She was preceded in death by her husband, L.D.
