Margaret Linda Roberts

Margaret Linda Roberts, 77, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at MUSC Health Chester Nursing Center.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Wightman officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

Born February 1, 1948 in Chester, SC, Linda was a daughter of the late Leonard Clyde Roberts and Margaret Robinson Roberts.  She was a graduate of Chester County GED School system and retired from Springs Industries Katherine Plant as a timekeeper.  Linda was an accomplished artist and pianist.  She had a great love for animals, especially dogs.  For most of her life, Linda was disabled, yet she used her talents to bring joy to others.  She was a member of Orrs Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Clyde Roberts (Kathy) of Chester, SC; an aunt, Joyce Hinson (Jimmy) of Chester, SC; a niece, Gabrielle Stewart (Nathan) of Mooresville, NC; a nephew, Joseph Roberts (Bethany) of Columbia, SC; and great nephews, Rivers and Laine Stewart of Mooresville, NC.
