Mrs. Margaret Childress Hudson, 81, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Agape Senior Living in Rock Hill, SC.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Chester Memorial Gardens with Rev. Harry Gindhart officiating. Born on October 20, 1928 in Avondale, North Carolina, Mrs. Hudson was a daughter of the late Dow and Dezzie Brown Childress.She was a graduate of Myrtle Beach High School and was retired from Essex Group, Inc. and was formerly employed with Springs Industries and Chester Telephone Company.She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-seven years, Mr. Harold L. Hudson; one son, Harold Lynn Hudson, Jr. of Lake Wateree, SC; three sisters, Virginia Wettergren and Juanita Phillips both of Rock Hill, SC and Vernelle Brown of Greenville, SC.She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Childress.
