Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Jones Dickey, 91, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Chester Regional Nursing Centerin Chester.The funeral service will be2:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Joanne Lockard-Hawkins officiating with intermentin Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM? 2:00 PM Saturday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Born January 22, 1919 in Lewis Turn Out in Chester County, SC, Mrs. Dickey was a daughter of the late Robert Patterson Jones and Cynthia Ann Hall Jones.She was a 1936 graduate of Oakley Hall High School that was located in Rodman, Chester County.She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.She loved to read and enjoyed embroidery, crewel, and making many Christmas ornaments for children and grandchildren.Her specialty was growing beautiful flowers in her gardens. She was retired from Springs Industries. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Dickey and his wife Betty of Chester and John R. Dickey and his wife Kathy of Summerville, NJ;one daughter, Dianne D. Douglas and her husband Larry of Ridgeway, SC;seven grandchildren: ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her husband John Alexander Dickey and two brothers, Robert S.
