Chester Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Lipford Abercrombie, 78, died Saturday, January 11, 2020.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 12, 2020 at Barron Funeral Home. There will be no memorial service. Mrs. Abercrombie was born May 1, 1941 in Chester, SC and was a daughter of the late Clyde Lipford and Maggie Elizabeth Corder Lipford.She was a graduate of Chester High School and was retired from Schlegal Corporation.Mrs. Abercrombie was a member of Woodward Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Sam Abercrombie; one son, Neil Abercrombie of Cleveland, NC; one daughter, Gena Lee Williamson (Don ) of Blythewood, SC; two granddaughters, Hannah Guerra (Zack) of Chester, SC and Shannon Williamson of Rock Hill, SC; one sister, Barbara Johnson (Russ) of Simpsonville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mrs. Abercrombie was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Harris.
