Chester Mr. Mack Alexander, Jr., 88, died Thursday, June 7, 2018, at his home.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 10, at First Baptist Church Lowrys with Rev. Justin Ford and Rev. Bob Finley officiating.Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday at First Baptist Church Lowrys. Mr. Alexander was born January 17, 1930 in Cherokee County, SC and was a son of the late Robert Mack Alexander and Jessie Quinn Alexander.He attended the schools of Cherokee County and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean conflict.Mr. Alexander was retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing and also Wilson’s Feed & Seed.He was a member of First Baptist Church Lowrys.He was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and will be most remembered for his love for his family and his commitment to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is survived by three daughters, Joyce Martin (Steve), June Watson (Gary) and Shirley Brown (Mike) all of Chester; five grandchildren, Paul Martin (Christa), Carolyn Logan (Andy), Rebecca Eifert (Christopher), Beverly Brown and Matthew Watson (Kelly); thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Don Alexander (Margie) of Blacksburg; two sisters, Dot Falls (Charlie) of Blacksburg and Peggy Faulkner of Goose Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen Alexander; four brothers and three sisters.
