Mable B. DePompeo CHESTER:Mrs. Mable Lee Burton DePompeo, formerly of Old York Road died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.She was 98. Funeral services will be2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Lowrys Baptist Church with Rev. Michael P. Shaffer officiating.Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Born November 6, 1910 in York County, Mrs. DePompeo was a daughter of the late Andrew Edward and Rosa Lee Smart Burton.She attended the schools of York County and was retired from Springs Industries.She was amember of Lowrys Baptist Church. She was the widow of Anthony A. DePompeo. Surviving are her brothers, Otis Burton and John Burton of Chester; grandson, Butch Burton of Chester; great-grandsons, Mark and Dylan Burton of Chester; and several nieces and nephews.
