Blackstock Mrs. Lula Vera (Parker) Traylor, 89, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Blackstock First Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Hinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday at Blackstock First Baptist Church, 907 Durham Road, Blackstock, SC 29014. Mrs. Traylor was born December 28, 1928 in Kershaw, SC and was a daughter of the late Zack P. Parker and Nettie Johnson Parker. Shegraduated from Kershaw High School and was retired from Springs Industries and was a homemaker.Mrs. Traylor was a member of Blackstock First Baptist Church where she served as Senior Adult Leader. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sheis survived by; one sister, Shirley Ransom ( Bernard) of Camden ; one step-son, Ronnie Traylor; two step-daughters, Teresa Shelton, and Angela Marcone; brother-in-law, Jack Eades of Charleston; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Traylor; three brothers T.J.,Harvey and Bob Parker; four sisters, Lucille Younger, Ruth Miller, Susie Eades, and Dot Parker.
