Lucille Dove Sinclair

CHESTER: Mrs. Lucille Dove Sinclair, 85, died Monday, March 28, 2016at the Chester Regional Nursing Center.The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the Chester First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Brian Howard officiating. The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in the sanctuary of the church. Born April 2, 1930 in Chester, SC, Mrs. Sinclair was a daughter of the late Robert Randolph Dove and Della Lee Ghantt Dove.She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries.She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene for over fifty-eight yearswhere she taught children in Sunday School for over forty years.Mrs. Sinclair received a SC District Distinguished Service Award from the First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Aragon and her husband Dempsey, Linda Fairfax and her husband Steve both of Chester; four grandchildren, Amy Wright and her husband Rodney, Rachel Jones and her husband Casey, Jae Wilson and Judd Fairfax; five great grandchildren, Jake Wright, Luke Wright, Stephen Fairfax, Chris Fairfax and Ava Grace Fairfax; a special niece, Kay Eagle; one brother, Bob Dove and three sisters, Frances Dove, Mary Ellen Love and Nancy Kaye Yarborough all of Chester. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. “Polly” Sinclair”, two brothers, Bill and John Dove and three sisters, Janie Mobley, Nancy Dove and Betty Dove.
