CHESTER - Mrs. Lucille Gregory Gaston, 86, of 4183 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, passed away July 9, 2009 at National Health Care in West Columbia, SC. The funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Hunter and Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating.Interment will be Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Born March 20, 1923 in Chester County, Mrs. Gaston was the daughter of the late Hughes Gregory and Mamie Love Gregory.She attended the schools of Chester County and retired from Springs Industries after forty-three years.She was a dedicated member of Wilksburg Baptist Church and the widow of Dalton H. Gaston.She was preceded in death by her beloved son Donnie Eugene Gaston. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra G. DuPre of Irmo, SC and Joyce G. Perry of Chester; one sister, Ruth Gregory of Chester, SC; four grandchildren, Stephanie DuPre and Jeffry DuPre of Irmo, SC, Phillip and Jennifer Perry both of Chester and three great grandchildren, Brian Perry, Jr, Emily Perry and Alex Roseborough all of Chester. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC.
