Love Fender CHESTER:Mrs. Love Banner Fender, formerly of Chester, died Wednesday April 15, 2009 at Agape Nursing Center in Rock Hill, SC.She was 82. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday April 20, 2009 at First Church of the Nazarene in Chester with the Rev. John Porter and the Rev. Ray Moore officiating.Interment will follow at Chester Memorial Gardens. Born April 30, 1926 in Erwin, TN, Mrs. Fender was a daughter of the late Orville and Ida Hensley Banner. She was a member of Chester First Church of the Nazarene and was retired from Springs Industries.An avid fan of baseball, Mrs. Fender also enjoyed gardening in her flower beds. She was the widow of George L. Fender and was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Fender Thomas.. Surviving are her daughters, Brenda F. Baker and Martha F. Lewis of Chester, and Nancy F. Forlaw of Meridian, Mississippi; 6 grandchildren, Jody Thomas of Richburg and Lisa Taylor of Carlisle, Wendy Baker, Jason Thomas, Martha Moore, and Blair Clark all of Chester, SC; 7 great grandchildren; and 6 brothers, Guy, Eddie, Ray, Niles, Gerald, and Arnold Banner all of Erwin, TN. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Sunday evening at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester, SC. Memorial donations may be made to Susan Komen Breast Cancer Center, P.O.
