Chester Mrs. Louise Robertson Wilburn, 88, died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at herhome.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Arthur Vick officiating.Interment will follow in Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday in the sanctuary of the church and other times at the home at 675 Sweeney St., Chester, SC. Mrs. Wilburn was born August 23, 1925 in Greensboro, NC and was a daughter of the late David Robertson and Connie Cauthen Beach.She grew up in the Children’s Homes of Lexington, NC and Tifton, Ohio, attended the schools of Lexington, NC and Tifton, Ohio, and retired from Schelgel as an inspector.Mrs. Wilburn was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Robert H. “Bobby” Wilburn, Jr. of Rock Hill, David D. “Chuck” Wilburn and wife Allison of Gaffney, and Thomas E. “Eddie” Wilburn and wife Linda of Chester; one daughter, Judy Faust and husband Lonnie of Chester; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Frances Beach of Charlotte, NC.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Wilburn, Sr.; two grandsons, Matthew Wilburn and Robert Glen Faust; and two sisters. Memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1217 J.A.
